The Intrinium Review, May 2019

The sun is shining, and the Intrinium team is growing by the day! We are excited to share that Ross Skinner has joined our firm as the Director of Professional Services, along with Christian Hartwig who will be supporting our Managed Security team as an Information Security Analyst. Additionally, we would like to congratulate Pat Atwal, who has recently been promoted to Vice President of Operations.

We celebrated World Password Day (the first Thursday in May) by reminding everyone to be thoughtful about your password management. Password Management is one of the first lines of defense against potentially malicious actors. Think of your passwords as the keys to your house – how are you protecting your castle?

Kylie Martonik (#CrossCountryKylie), our Manager of Security Consultants, recently headed to Austin, Texas to participate in the Tribe of Hackers Summit. This full-day event featured short TED-style talks to engage the security curious, focusing on topics that the book’s contributors are passionate about. The roster of speakers included InfoSec professionals and contributors from the 2019 book, Tribe of Hackers: Cybersecurity Advice from Hackers Around the World. We invite you to learn more about the exciting event by reading the full blog here.

If you have a moment, feel free to take a peek at our recent blogs below.
